real Toronto weddings. real locals. real love stories.
The secret ingredient in making magical wedding photos is connection, and it’s something I pride myself in creating with each of my couples.
Take a moment to read a little bit more about me, and if you think we could be friends, let’s connect!
Toronto truly has my heart. I LOVE the city so so much! Having photographed a number of local weddings, I wanted to pass on some valuable info for any couples planning their wedding. It is relevant for any Canadian wedding. But it also applies to Toronto weddings. Hopefully it can be valuable for you!
To be legally married? Yes. Depending on where you want to get married (and how), you may need to apply for a Marriage License yourself. The licence costs $140 (plus HST). And you can apply for your marriage licence online. Click here to access it.
Short answer: probably. The city is notorious for its photography permits and high fees. If you want to take wedding photos in (almost) any city park in Toronto, you will need to apply (and pay) for a permit. For more information on all of this, click here.
You can get all the information on how to change your last name by clicking here. You’ll need to change your health card, driver’s licence and passport. Make sure you start the process long before (or after) your honeymoon so it doesn’t interfere with travel plans!
If so, let me know! I’d love to be part of your experience. Reach out if you’re still looking for a photographer to capture this time of your life.
