Seanna and Matthew | A stylish Toronto Broadview Hotel wedding
Emily Gilbert, one of the bride’s fabulous bridesmaids, wrote a wonderful synopsis of how Seanna and Matthew met. Since no one tells this story better than Emily, I’m going to borrow her words. It goes something like this:
“A faulty air duct may never have been the start of a love story before. But one that just so happened to be located over Seanna’s desk led Matt to her shortly after he began working at the same company. What started as an ordinary task at the office for Matt soon evolved into frequent stops at Seanna’s poorly ventilated workspace. Friends noticed some subtle (and perhaps not so subtle) flirting that Seanna was completely oblivious to, but the two soon discovered a shared affinity for Thai food that prompted what would end up being their first date. Turns out love was in the air (literally) from day one.”
So if that’s not the best introduction I’ve ever read, I don’t know what is. Seanna and Matt are two of the most effortlessly cool people I know. Here’s more from their wedding day:
THE TORONTO BROADVIEW HOTEL WEDDING
The day started off in the coolest way possible: popping bubbly, blaring Drake, and eating plenty of breakfast donuts! Because Matt’s parents had a beautiful vintage car, he drove it to see Seanna for their first look. I can honestly say that it was one of the most difficult first looks I’ve ever had to photograph. Why? Because I was so darn emotional from seeing Matt cry at the first sight of her! But it was the best!
