I’m so thrilled to share that Lauren McCormick Photography has been voted Ottawa’s Top Wedding Photographer. This has been an honour I’ve received for three years now: 2022, 2023, and 2025. Being recognised by other professionals in the industry is the biggest honour I could imagine, and it truly means so much to me. We have such a special wedding industry here in Ottawa, one I cherish and value so much. So to receive this award has been a major career milestone for me!
What the Ottawa Wedding Vendor Peer Choice Awards Are
The Ottawa Wedding Vendor Peer Choice Awards celebrates the outstanding talent of Ottawa’s wedding professionals. It was created by an anonymous wedding vendor in Ottawa who aims to celebrate our incredible community. What makes these awards so special is that winners are selected solely by their peers. Each vendor is vetted to ensure legitimacy and fair play. This is not a popularity contest where you can vote endlessly, once per day, and have bots vote on your behalf. Each vendor may vote one time and no one is able to vote for themselves.
For me, this award is a reminder of the trust that people place in me to capture some of the most important moments of their lives, and the incredible community I’m proud to be part of in Ottawa.
